Our circa 1910 home offers beautifully restored oak floors, bead board ceilings and is furnished with  antiques, curios and heirlooms. Not only is Blaine House a unique historic home, it is located in the best kept secret of Western North Carolina nestled in the lush Nantahala Forest. The B&B is in walking distance of  the quaint small town of Franklin offering gift shops, museums and restaurants in abundance.  Speaking of home town fair...every Saturday night till sun-down (weather –permitting) you can easily walk down to “Pickin’ On the Square", a free concert featuring Blue Grass, Country, Gospel and other types of live music & cloggers and we’ll even furnish the lawn chairs too!  

Blaine House is situated close to the Gem Mines, beautiful waterfalls, hiking trails and 5 minutes away is the new Smoky Mountain Performance Center.  We can also arrange a Great Smoky Mountain Train excursion or a Whitewater Rafting trip.  We also offer several packages to make your vacation getaway complete!   We arrange it, you enjoy it!
